To describe what goes on in the classroom would limit the readers view of what actually happens in my corner of the building. The content that I teach is diverse and takes place in numerous settings, from the classroom to a very nice metal fabrication shop and small engines room, to a brand new green house and soon to be school farm. The students who take my classes will learn skills that will aid them in the work force and as a college student. Due to budget cuts and our limited access to resources our students do not have the equipment that would greatly enhance the opportunities to learn and gain necessary skills through project based learning. My students are among the most talented and bright in the County, and they are hungry to learn.
