Students have access to a digital reading library (myON) that the district provides. Students have access to approx. 5,600 digital books. The earbuds will support students with reading challenges by allowing the books to be read to them. This ensures that students are being read to whether or not an adult has time to. It is our goal to have students learn to love reading thereby increasing their achievement scores and increasing their ability to succeed in life. The additional technology will give my students a much needed practice in the areas of listening and reading comprehension. Students who are confident in reading abilities will be ready to face the challenges of higher education and the workplace.
