Many of my students have never been to a pre-k setting and therefore my classroom is their first experience at school. In order to maximize their social skills , my students sit at tables to support cooperative group learning. As a result of this seating the students do not have space to store their materials for easy access. By providing my students with chair pockets to store their materials they will be able to quickly and easily access their learning materials and writing tools to participate in daily activities. This project will have an immediate positive impact for my students by increasing their time spent in their cooperative learning groups with their materials.
