By providing students with tablets they will be able to access educational apps geared towards English language acquisition. They will use them during center themed activities. Students will use apps such as ABC Mouse and Skoolbo to increase basic English skills. They will also use Hooked on Phonics to increase phonics and reading skills. Tablets will give my ELL students the opportunity to improve their English skills by creating a fun challenge. Not only will the students be able to see an English concept but hear it as well. This will improve their academic skills across all the context areas.
