The student-run news studio is in need of a new video switcher in order for the morning news to continue. This helps support students learning responsibility, communication skills, and develops leadership skills. The students also help lead daily lessons on character education and "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Students" as a Leader in Me school which supports social-emotional support. All students in the school watch the news for the daily lessons and it is a leadership position that many want to apply to lead. We have multiple news crews throughout the year, helping many students develop the leadership skills that will enable them to become successful adults in the future.

About my class
