My students are currently working on tables that are at least 20 years old. The tables are falling apart and are full of termite damage. Every year they are sprayed for termites and covered with plastic for student use. The tables are uneven, cracked and damaged beyond repair. Students have to work on clipboards or drawing boards because writing or drawing directly on the tables is not possible. My students deserve better, they need to be able to work in a clean and healthy space. With limited funding at my school, we are currently unable to purchase the new tables we so desperately need. With roughly 200 students using the space, new tables would be in use by approximately 25% of the school's population. Please help my students have the opportunity to work in a clean and safe learning environment!
