I chose this design because the brightly colored rows will help me provide structure and organization as we are gathered whole group This rug will strengthen community as we gather on it for morning meeting, calendar, read alouds, movement/brain breaks, community circle, etc I think the colors of the rug will be an attraction for students to choose this area for flexible seating. This rug will strengthen community as we gather on it for morning meeting, calendar, read alouds, movement/brain breaks, community circle, etc. The gathering space carpet area will enhance the overall feel of our entire classroom. It is something we will use many times a day.
