The materials and equipment will help introduce new team sports to my students. Many of them have not been exposed to team sports such as Basketball, Soccer, and Volleyball because parents may not be able to afford to put them in Youth Sports, or they may be too busy working two jobs in order to provide for their family. Receiving this equipment will provide students with important lessons on personal values and they will not feel isolated or left out. It will teach them leadership skills, physical skills, social interaction skills, and teamwork skills along. The equipment will also give my students the opportunity to master fundamental skills in order to be successful when they move on to middle school or high school.
