Welcome! I am a first year teacher, fresh out of college and field work! My students are teenagers in an urban, public school in Wisconsin. They are energetic, passionate, and always ready to learn! My students all come from different backgrounds which creates a unique classroom community. I work my hardest to preserve their unique qualities and at the same time challenge their thoughts and assumptions, push their boundaries, and give them a chance to learn and grow. Although this is what I strive for and my students are passionate about their education, it's not always possible; my students often times do not have the materials needed to support their educational goals. My students need basic school supplies and the opportunity to be presented with canonical and young adult literature that is of high interest. The basics build the foundation of a great classroom community and we thank you for your support!
