Although our Charter School's focus is on Science and Math, my students still seem to struggle with both subjects. Only 25% of my students come prepared to class with a calculator of their own. Stoichiometry, Gas Laws, Force and Motion, Scientific Notation, as wells as converting between Metric and English are almost impossible without the use of a calculator. My scholars need to utilize calculators daily to complete these calculations. By helping me purchase a classroom set of TI-84 calculators, you will be providing my students with the necessary means to complete all the complex math problems in my Chemistry and Physics classes.
