Having books in English with improve their reading fluency in both languages, as well as boost their vocabulary. We need on-level reading material to assess the students' abilities in both languages so that we can design appropriate instruction for those that need additional support. These donations will only strengthen their knowledge, and make them more prepared for the future. Even though technology is advancing to allow us to read thousands of books online, we do not have access to such resources, and therefore the students count on physical books like the ones we grew up with to learn about the world around us. Additionally, when they do go and look for a area away from the majority of students, we do not have comfortable seating for them to really sit down and enjoy their reading, so a couple new seats would be nice, too!
