Our students LOVE using technology in school. Take any lesson, find a way to connect it to digital technology, and student engagement increases tenfold. There are an incredible amount of unique learning styles and modalities, and a proper use of technology can serve to address nearly all types. One resource that we find to be particularly engaging and student-centered is the digital interactive whiteboard. I'm requesting an IPEVO Portable Interactive Whiteboard System for my classroom. Interactive whiteboards open the door for increased student engagement, real-world connections, and lifelong learning. There is no better feeling than seeing a student make connections in learning that he or she has never made before. I believe that with the use of this interactive whiteboard, my students' learning will be positively and dramatically affected.
