I am the reading teacher at West Lake STEM Junior High, a Title 1 school in West Valley City, Utah. My goal is to get students who don't like reading, to LIKE reading. I believe it takes one book to change a student's mentality about reading and I am determined to find that one book for each of my students. Too often, students are required to read books in school and most often than not, it's a book of low interest to them. I want to find that one book of high interest for each student that will completely change their way of thinking about reading.
