These much needed supplies and learning tools will help our classroom become an exciting place to learn. These may seem like basic items (clipboards and playground balls), but sometimes the basics are the best! I have included some great puzzles that go along with our United States social studies core for kids to work on as they finish early or have extra time. I also requested an inexpensive set of speakers for my laptop so we can sing along with the states and capitals songs as well as others throughout the year. The dry erase boards are a necessity for every classroom to use in all areas! I am also in need of a podium so that I can have my teaching materials at hand and closer to eye level so I can look out better as I teach and engage more with the students. I am looking forward to a great year with my 5th graders!
