It is the beginning of November and the holidays are quickly approaching! I love the holidays - it's such a happy time of year, and the perfect opportunity to show people you care. However, for MANY families this time can also be difficult. We have so many families that have to make the choice between buying food and other essentials for their kids, OR getting them a Christmas present. You would be amazed at how many kids don't get a single gift for Christmas. Not because their parents don't want to, but because they CAN'T. So, I'd like to ease that burden for them AND provide their babies with something that will keep them warm over winter break! Our school closes for over two weeks and I get so worried thinking about if my kids are warm enough. So, I want to get them each a warm winter coat of their own! This coat will be the perfect gift for holidays and help me to know that my students are warm over the winter break.
