I am requesting 12 Kindle Fires to support rich and collaborative learning experiences. Our students are capable and eager to use the latest technology to support them educationally. They will also benefit from the ability to collaborate efficiently with other learners in their own building and beyond using engaging, content-specific educational apps and websites. If funded, the items being donated will be used daily to enhance the learning experience of our students. The positive effect will be many times greater than the initial investment. Imagine the possibilities when using Kindle Fires in the classroom community to learn and explore! In unison with teacher-guided instruction, students can let their fingers do the talking and quite literally light up their learning world.
