The use of audio books will greatly improve my students' word recognition. Hearing the words as they follow along will allow each student to associate the look of the word with the sound being read to them. Knowing and associating the words and sounds will increase their confidence in reading and writing. My students range from General Education Students to Exceptional Education Students. I want my students to have every advantage they can get in order to succeed and these audio books will be an amazing start. Not only would they help to improve our reading skills; they would help to make us outstanding listeners!

About my class
