The Chromebooks will help students learn ways to use technology to be financially savvy. The Chromebooks will allow my students to learn the concepts of banking, budgeting, savings, retirement, credit cards, the risks of bankruptcy, investing/retirement and the basics of the Stock Market. The use of technology will assist with student engagement and project based learning. Students will be able to access Nearpod presentations/virtual field trips, compete in the StockMarket game and research financial literacy topics and trends. The Chromebooks will also be beneficial to my ESL (Eglish as a second language) students who still struggle with the English language.
