The students at NWCTA are special because they have chosen to come to our magnet academy to learn about medical professions. Most, if not all, are interested in becoming future health care professionals. They are taking two college level courses in Human Body Systems and Health Science. The students come from all backgrounds and are all interested in higher education. This lesson will fulfill their requirements to pass the PLTW curriculum class. It is a culmination of a respiratory system unit to see how long function works. Students will be using devices that are used in a respiratory therapy or pulmonologist office.
