This classroom carpet will provide my students with a bright, colorful and inviting area to learn! Given this is most of my students' first experience in school, the individual square spots will help the students learn how to correctly sit on the rug. The square spots act as a guide to sitting on the rug and keeping our bodies within our own space. The carpet also has the letters of the alphabet with a corresponding picture which can be referenced as we are learning about letters and letter sounds in the classroom. The new carpet will really brighten up our learning environment!
