My students need an expanded and updated play area to learn through dramatic play and building! Being able to provide a new kitchen set, occupation costumes, and baby dolls will allow children to learn through play and develop and expand their vocabulary. The building materials and blocks will allow students to plan, construct, and problem solve with a different variety of materials! I am building a newer Kindergarten classroom and the supplies will also make the students excited to come to school and provide a smoother transition. I also believe that play area encourages social skills, such as sharing, problem solving, and general conversations between students not instigated by a teacher. It allows students to develop friendships.
