The books I've chosen are all excellent examples of engaging YA literature on a variety of topics. I hope to use these in my classroom to continue to grow my library and lend to students throughout the year to help them achieve their goals for reading and building brain power. Good readers make good college students and good employees and that's what I hope to send out in to the world when my students walk across the stage. My students work hard in all they do, but they need to build their reading skills to be the best they can be in life.
