My name is Ms. Curro and I am a Learning Specialist at an all-girls charter school in a low-income community in the South Bronx. Almost all of our students receive free or reduced lunch. As a Learning Specialist, I support students who are currently performing far below grade level. Many of my students have been diagnosed with a learning disability. I am passionate about supporting these girls with building confidence in addition to academic skills, and helping them develop the skills they will need to be successful in life.
