I want to give my students a fabulous writing center this year. My goal is to switch the types of writing they have exposure to. One month they might be working on comics and the next poems and recipe cards. I want my students to not just explore with amazing utensils, but also with all different kids of writing. Postcards, stationary, and sticker stories are just a few of the ideas for my revamped writing center. Please help a class full of first graders have access to the amazing world of writing. Our writing center is a very important part of our stations in the classroom. I want students to have engaging and varied ways to write.
