These products will provide my students with alternatives to the standard desks. Our desks have the chairs connected to them and it is quite irritating to some of my students. A rug will give them a space to work on the floor with a clipboard, and the standing desks will allow them to get out of their seats while maintaining focus. Seating for all! The stand up desk will be so so helpful for my students who need frequent movement breaks. My kids get pretty antsy, and I don't blame them with 90 minute classes. Even if I was working on my computer at home for 90 mintures, I know that I would start at my desk, move to the floor and sit with my legs crossed, move to my stomach, and try standing. If I would do all of this to stay focused for that long, I'm sure these 9th graders feel the same way or even stronger.
