With the materials listed i'm planning and expecting for our journey in Math, Science and Writing to be engaging, fun, and most importantly an amazing learning experience. Organization I believe is a great tool in a healthy learning environment. Magnet boards will aide in the classroom's structure. I plan on using the whiteboards as assessment tools. We will answer questions, and create content together. I also want the children to participate in the anchor chart creations, and I believe these will help with that. I believe this is one area where both myself and my classes will learn from one another. I will learn if my teaching methods are being absorbed and how so, or if I need to use another approach. Throw pillows will be used to help the children relax and read quietly. That is great sentiment, but what I am hoping for is that while they are reading their imaginations will be at work, and they are thinking of vibrant stories and memories. Stories and memories that will translate onto paper when we practice and execute our writing pieces. Memories and stories that will push myself and class to hunger for education and new ways to express those thoughts via paper, or voice. I am very excited for the many ways these supplies will provide various avenues of education for all those involved.
