Project 'Headphones for Success' is designed to help my students stay focused and use technology in the classroom everyday. I am requesting headphones for each of my students so they may be able to use the computers without disrupting the rest of the learning in the class. We use the computers for two things each day. First we use the computers for literacy stations. My students visit a variety of educational websites to practice typing skills, spelling, and reading comprehension. Second we use the computers for a math station called Tenmarks. Tenmarks is a math program that is designed to have each students practice the math skills that they need to work on. I can give assignments that are tailored to the needs of each child, and track their progress online. By funding this project you are providing a classroom full of students with materials that are imperative to their learning. Without the headphones, the computers are a distraction to other students. I really hope that you make the choice to donate and help out some amazing children. Thank you.
