Flexible seating is innovative, allows for collaboration and gives students a choice in their learning environment. I chose items that can be sanitized within CDC guidelines, are aesthetically pleasing and provides options. I will create collaborative floor seating which can be moved to accommodate learning with pillows and floor seats. I will use these items to allow my students to wobble, rock, bounce, lean or stand, which increases oxygen flow to the brain, blood flow and core strength. This in turn will increase active engagement and help keep kids focused during instruction.
