The computers in our advisory class are getting very outdated. During our Advisory class, we use a laptop to research schools, work on scholarship applications as well as the FAFSA application. My project will address this problem by providing our class with a dedicated workstation specifically for college applications. The laptop and hard drive requested will be used by students to research colleges, scholarships, etc. on a rotating basis. This year, my Advisory classes are also diving deep into real world research on SAT's as well as the FAFSA process. Three times a week, students will actively research and complete applications on this workstation. On a more informal basis, this workstation will be available "as needed" during lunch and after school for students wishing to do so. By funding this project, you will help us to organize and smooth the complex and difficult process of applying to and paying for higher education.
