A new iPad with large storage capabilities will be able to provide my students the opportunity to make significant gains in their communication goals. It will allow my students access to multiple apps instead of limited apps to target communication goals. My students need access to a variety of apps to help them have meaningful, exciting, and engaging opportunities to learn. In the past, I have had to delete apps that have large storage capabilities off my iPad to make more storage room for new apps I have acquired. As a result, students have lost access to these important apps. It has become frustrating for me as speech-language therapist to not have access to excellent technology at all times. I am looking forward to having an iPad with capabilities to use with a many different students, ages, abilities and disabilities.
