I am requesting materials that will meet basic needs of my students. Items that will increase their ability to be at school and to focus while there. Items such as Clorox Wipes, disinfectant spray, hand sanitizer, and tissues are necessary to decrease the spread of germs, especially during cold and flu season. It is important for students to use these items, and to understand how they work to prevent illness. Hungry students can not focus well. Sixth graders are big, growing kids. Being able to offer students a nutritious snack will help with the hunger, and teach them the value of making healthy choices. Having these simple items in a classroom can make a huge difference for the kids.
