Students need a variety of reading materials geared towards them specifically. By using those interactive materials, students will gain more information and knowledge about topics of study. With students being at a variety of reading levels, it is hard to provide those materials. The Scholastic magazines will offer a wide variety of grade leveled materials as well as interactive materials that span across the curriculum. It will provide students an opportunity to develop their reading skills through informational text. There is also an aspect of learning about current events. Students need to learn about what is going on around the world in all aspects of the curriculum. This project will bring quality reading materials to my students.
