Hello Everyone! I am a first-year, third grade teacher at William E. Snyder Elementary School. Our school is a Title 1 Victory school that serves a community of low income families. The demographics at my school are as follows: 69% Hispanic, 17% African American, 8% Caucasian, 2% Asian/Pacific Islander, and 4% other. Many of our families are also African and Syrian refugees. Our school does an amazing job helping both our students and families acclimate to their new home, such as providing tutoring for extra reading support and tutoring for our English Language Learners. I'd like my students to be able to come into our classroom and not worry about running low on supplies or not being able to have the adequate tools they need to be able to learn to the best of their abilities. With your helpful donations, I will be able to provide a learning environment that will propel my students to their absolute potential!
