Having the comfy floor chairs will make a big difference in my media center. Students can relax on the floor in these chairs and read. They can be used when we are sitting on the floor doing group projects. The comfy floor chairs make it child friendly in the media center. Also, the comfy floor chairs are excellent to use during guided reading. During media, we do a lot of activities on floor. My babies (students) need the opportunity to be comfortable while reading. Sitting in our adult chairs does not allow for comfort. I found out that the students love sitting on the floor because they are able to interact better with one another better. Comfortable seating enhances reading.
