I would like to use educational games like Catan to engage students in concepts of the building of civilization and society. Edupress games bring ELA to life and help students practice skills to thrive in and out of the classroom. Hands on simulations and gamification in the classroom take student learning to the next level. Students have deep discussions about the decisions they are making while interacting with the curriculum to make critical connects to real life concepts. I would love the opportunity to teach my students through these games and hands on materials rather than working out of a dated textbook.
