My classroom is Pre-K Intensive. The ages of the students range from 3-5 years. This program provides intensive instruction in all domains and a highly structured classroom environment. The students thrive on having routine in their everyday learning. The curriculum focus is on instruction in communication, independent functioning, social skills, and pre-academics. My students enjoy coming to school. They love circle time (where they are actively engaged in the teaching and learning process), music and movement, art, books and sensory activities. My classroom is staffed with myself and one teacher assistant. We both enjoy working with these children and are thrilled to see the progress that they make each day in their development. Their parents are also very thankful for a safe and enriching learning environment for their children.
