What a better way to start the day than meeting with your classmates on a comfy carpet! This carpet will be utilized in so many ways throughout the day. First we will use it for our morning meeting. This is a time to discuss our activities for the day as well as to share good news that is going on in the children's daily lives. We will also use it to sit as a group as we listen to literature read aloud by our teacher and special guests. During math we meet on the carpet to work on our dry erase boards and share strategies to solve problems with a partner. Last, we will be using the carpet to read independently or partner read. So many uses for this wonderful carpet! We can't wait to try it out.
