This year I would like to try something new with my students! I've noticed over the past couple of years my students have been more wiggly, they like to rock in their chairs, they like to lay down while they work, and some even like to stand up while working! I credit this to the new wave of technological savvy kids I've been getting. I have been reading about flexible seating and how the students have a choice of how to sit in the classroom. They pick the way they learn best. I want to allow my students the opportunity to be at their best. Some students can sit in a desk all day but some have other needs. I would like my classroom to reflect the 21st century learners that I have!
