My fabulous 1st-grade students are inquisitive, energetic, kind-hearted, and hard working. We live in a rural community on the south shore on the island of Kauai, Hawaii. My students come from many different backgrounds and have a variety of interests. My students love movement, art, dance, math, and reading. They are very social and very active. Increasing engagement and fostering a love for learning are two goals I have set for my students this year. The projects I create this year are set to help us reach these goals!
