All of my students are a mixture of different diverse learners. They are gifted and talented, English language learners, and special needs students. Next school year, our grade level will be implementing a new teaching model: co-teaching a combination of three classes within the space of two classrooms. Since our classrooms will be combined, we will have 80 students in total. Space, as well as furniture, will be limited. Learning resources will be scarce, and we would have to share resources between three classes. In my class, I will be incorporating a hybrid of traditional learning and convergent learning all in a unique instructional way. With no walls in between the three classes, the mobile boards and wobble chairs will be great adaptable resources for our collaborative conversations and team-building learning projects. The materials will support the fusion of the two instructional techniques and make for easy transitioning of 80 students between subjects.
