Our Modern Band class currently meets in a room that is used for Spanish classes. This means that 10, very large, very heavy tables, need to be moved each day to make room for students to play instruments. This leads to less space for students, and causes discomfort while trying to squeeze into the space around tables. With a small makeover, our space will be transformed into a multi-purpose room, suitable for Music Rehearsals! These folding tables will make room setup much easier, and will give students a much larger area in which to play instruments. Acoustic tiling will help manage the volume inside the room during rehearsals, and will limit the amount of sound heard by neighboring classrooms.
