My students would like more options in our classroom to maximize their learning potential. This past school year, my class had the opportunity to rotate the use of six stability balls and I noticed a significant difference in their abilities to stay on task. I believe a flexible seating arrangement would best meet all of the students individual needs. The items, that I've selected (balance boards, balance balls, stack stools, loop bands, and bed risers), will provide students with a chance to move at a time when they would normally be sitting still and trying to focus. I believe my students would consider these materials a way to release their energy and or anxiety while working in a quiet, non-distracting way.
