Chromebooks will be used every day to help advance education in the classroom. Very few of my students have computers at home, and we are limited in our school. They will advance skills from the very basics of learning to type with two hands, to learning how to create graphic organizers, to higher engagement and production in writing, to improved teamwork due to document collaboration. I will be able to use it to help understand students who can’t speak English and will now have an automatic translation. The ability to offer a paperless classroom for my students will make for a very high value experience since the world is moving more and more toward becoming totally digital. The experience will give my students the skills to be productive in college and in their chosen career fields.
