Most students tend to freeze right up when writing thesis statements, but with these nifty erasable white boards, the pressure is off. We will definitely use these for weekly grammar practice as well as during essay and narrative writing. Having my students be able to use different colored markers can also help them distinguish different elements of a paragraph or essay. I can even see some flash poetry projects using these. On a sadder note, our two classroom pencil sharpeners have sharpened their last, and I am tired of seeing trails of pencil shavings all over my floor. It's time for a new sharpener.
