My students need a reliable color printer with extra ink cartridges to help them with their class projects. Many of the printers at our school require tender, love, and care just to print one page, and sometimes, even after troubleshooting for 15 minutes or so, it doesn't print at all. Imagine trying to graph points and lines and comparing different shades of greys. When I print out graphs for my students on black and white, they have trouble deciphering the graphs. It is hard to tell which color belongs to which items. I want to have a reliable printer, so my students would not stress over comprehending math concepts due to lack of colors. I want to have a reliable printer, because sometimes my students need to scan documents or print out documents for co-op, but they have nowhere to go to print it. I want to be a reliable source to assist my students when they need to complete paperwork for the work field.
