My students have to learn to properly maintain, store, and care for their camera equipment that gets stuffed into a cabinet each afternoon. By proper storage and care, I can teach the students how to care for equipment that has to last over the next few years. With the movement involved in high school photography, we need safe bags to transport cameras with parts to games, events, and programs. Last year, we lost a sim card and had a camera battery stolen because we couldn't properly store our equipment. We need this equipment in order to better supply students with photography opportunities to act like historians in photojournalism for the school.
