I have the privilege of teaching English and Social Studies to some of the most unique students in our city! My students all have orthopedic impairments. Many of them use wheelchairs, and a lot of them also have visual impairments, fine motor delays, speech delays, or an intellectual disability. These teens do an amazing job of working around and beyond their challenges. I want to be the best teacher I can be for them, and I'm always looking for ways to make my classroom more accessible, and new tools that I can use to differentiate. With so many different needs and ability levels, that can be tough sometimes! I hope that through donor's choose, I can make our classroom an even better learning environment for my incredible students.
