The writing composition books will help my students become writing warriors. We are working on building our writing stamina and genre knowledge. The journals will be used for learning from home as well as in the classroom. Students will write personal narratives about their lives, opinion pieces about different topics, and issues going on in the world today and the changes they would like to see. In addition, students will produce informative writing pieces about topics they know about to educate the others including their classmates. The use of the journals will also offer extra writing practice as well as promote and encourage the students to become future writers.
