Having access to such a wide variety of resources has allowed us to bring learning to life in ways that feel meaningful and exciting for our students.\r\n\r\nOur classrooms have already been enriched with beautifully designed social studies projects for Hispanic Heritage Month, informative and age-appropriate activities about the Holocaust, standard-aligned reading assignments, and math resources that help reinforce skills in fun, memorable ways. In my own math and STEM classes, students have loved the creative projects we've been able to add, like a Thanksgiving turkey fact-family craft, seasonal challenges, pixel art practice, and other puzzles that turn practice into something they look forward to. These materials help us reach different types of learners and keep lessons fresh, engaging, and accessible.\r\n\r\nWhat has been most impactful is the consistency and quality these resources bring across our entire team. Whether students are completing a reading passage, solving math problems, working on a social studies project, or diving into a STEM challenge, the materials now align beautifully with our teaching methods and the standards we follow. We've seen students who usually struggle with confidence feel more successful, and others who are already enthusiastic learners become even more invested. The doodle boards, patterns block, counting chains, jumbo ten frame, addition machine, microscope, calming boards, force/motion station, and geometry manipulatives opened new doors for my students. Your generosity allowed every student to have a hands-on learning experiences during math and science. We were also able to utilize the doodle boards during phonics small groups, which made students EAGER to practice their letters sounds and blending. We are incredibly appreciative of the variety and excitement that these items brought to our classroom. They were literally begging me to come to my small group table spell words, which is unheard of in a Kindergarten classroom. They have short attention spans and they get bored quickly, so I was thrilled to see them motivated to learn. \r\n\r\nThis was my first-year teaching ESE students, many of whom are autistic. I quickly discovered that this specific population really thrives when they are able to attach tangible objects to intangible concepts. The math manipulatives allowed them to deepen their number sense in a flexible and intuitive way. They did not have to rely on memorizing math facts. They could demonstrate understanding with the additional machine, linking chains, and jumbo ten frames even if they did not have the words to express their thinking. This made them feel so proud and successful. It also warmed my heart that they were able to participate in meaningful learning experiences just like their general education peers. All of the items donated made an incredible impact in our classroom. My students are now able to feel competent when solving math equations and when showing their work, which helps brings learning to life in a meaningful way. \r\n\r\nLastly, the writing journals that were donated made the world of difference for the students in class that were not able to afford school supplies. Since we are a Title 1 school, many families struggle to provide their children with the basic supplies they need for school. These donated journals ensured that EVERY student was able to participate in activities without feeling \"left out\". Typically, if a student does not have a writing journal, I will print lined handwriting pages and staple the pages together. They inevitably noticed that their journal looks different than their peers who have store bought journals. I was very thankful that every student had a real journal this year, which allowed them to organize their work and improve their handwriting. \r\n\r\nYour generous donation empowered me to ignite curiosity, foster innovation, and inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, and problem-solvers. Your support not only enriched our curriculum, but it also sent a powerful message to my students: that their education matters, and that our community believes in their potential. These items deeply impacted my class this year and the best part is most of these items can be reused for many more years to come! \r\n\r\nThank you once again for your generosity and commitment to advancing STEM education. We're truly grateful to have your support this school year.
