These microscopes will be used by students to explore bacteria, protists, fungi, plants, and more. Students do not realize that there is a microscopic community surrounding them. We will use the microscopes to observe slides of the organisms and introduce them to microscopic technology. The unseen world around us is amazing! Students will explore specimens, draw pictures, and write explanations of their observations. They will have the opportunity to learn proper handling of the microscopes and laboratory skills. Our current microscopes are approximately 15 to 20 years old. Students have to keep their hands on the focus knobs to maintain focus or the stages slowly moves. We need new equipment so that our students do not become frustrated with their explorations. Your generous donation will inspire our future scientists.
